What Are Altars?
Altars are capturable structures scattered through the Great River Clan (central) region of the Season 6 map. When your alliance captures an Altar, it unlocks faction-wide alliance skills — buffs and abilities that every alliance in your faction can use.
Faction Altar control is the single biggest predictor of who wins Season 6. Alliance skills like Warlord Missile and Fortify can turn losing matchups into wins. A faction that lets the enemy control all the Altars fights the entire season without these tools. If your alliance is not pushing Altars, you are playing with one hand tied behind your back.
