How Season 2 Plays Out
Season 2 is survival season. Temperature gates everything: drop below -20°C and you lose the ability to rally, teleport, gather, and heal at full speed. The whole season is structured around managing heat sources while accumulating Rare Soil — the ranking resource that rewards consistency over burst. Season 2 runs roughly 8-10 weeks.
Furnace progression is your survival clock. Rare Soil accumulation is your ranking clock. Both run from Day 1. Falling behind on the Furnace gets you locked out of combat during Cold Waves; falling behind on Rare Soil leaves you out of contention for end-of-season rewards. There is no catching up on either — you are either ahead of schedule or losing.
