How Season 1 Plays Out
Season 1 is the horizontal progression season. HQ 30 is the cap for the whole season and the focus shifts to everything underneath: Exclusive Weapons, T10 troops, star promotion, Special Forces / Virus Resistance research, gear, and the meta shift from Tank dominance to Aircraft dominance. Season 1 runs 8 weeks, ending with the Final Battle and settlement before Season 2 (Polar World) opens. (There is no oil in Season 1 — the Age of Oil and HQ 31–35 only arrive after Season 2.)
Deepen every system underneath HQ 30 instead of racing the next HQ level. Specifically: unlock T10 troops in Week 1, get all five squad members to Exclusive Weapon Lv 20 by Week 5, have your absolute carry at EW Lv 30 by Week 6, and arrive at Week 8's Final Battle with two functional squad types (Tank + Aircraft) and a stockpile of speedups for Season 2's Furnace push. Players who treat S1 like a continuation of Pre-Season 1's HQ race fall permanently behind those who invest in EW, T10 and Aircraft.
