Alliance Duel VS (Season 1)
VS in Season 1
Alliance Duel VS follows the same 6-day structure in Season 1, but the stakes are higher. Your alliance has stronger squads, more resources to save, and better rewards at stake. The meta shift to Aircraft also changes Day 6 combat significantly.
For the full day-by-day mechanics, see the Alliance Duel VS Guide.
Season 1 VS rewards are significantly better than pre-season. The investment in saving resources and coordinating your alliance pays off with more impactful returns. Every week you skip or underperform is a bigger opportunity cost than in pre-season.
What Is Different in Season 1
Stronger Squads Everywhere
- Gold gear is common — most competitive players have full sets
- Exclusive Weapons are available — heroes hit harder
- T10 troops are unlocked — march power is dramatically higher
- Day 6 combat is more decisive because fights are faster and more lethal
The Aircraft Meta on Day 6
Day 6 combat is transformed by the Aircraft meta:
- DVA-led Aircraft squads dominate open PvP — expect to face them
- Type matching matters more — sending Tanks against Aircraft squads is throwing troops away
- Missile counter-squads become decisive — alliances with Missile players have a significant Day 6 advantage
- The Murphy Exception means some "Aircraft" squads have a Tank in the front row — scout carefully
Better Resource Stockpiles
Your alliance has more resources available in Season 1:
- More speedups accumulated from months of events
- Higher hero levels with more shards collected
- Larger troop counts for Day 5 mass training
- More gold gear for Day 6 combat
Season 1 Day Priority
Season 1 Day 5 Strategy
Day 5 remains your most consistent win condition:
- Save ALL speedups Monday through Thursday — discipline still wins
- Stockpile training resources — T10 troop training provides more points per unit than lower tiers
- Use the waterfall training strategy — train at lowest tier, upgrade through tiers for repeated points
- The 4x training multiplier makes this the most efficient day regardless of opponent strength
- Coordinate alliance-wide — every member training on Friday
Season 1 Day 6 Strategy
Day 6 becomes more contestable in Season 1 because your squads are stronger:
Type-Matched Combat
Exclusive Weapon Advantage
On Day 6, Exclusive Weapons create large power gaps:
- A DVA with Energy Master Exclusive Weapon can solo opponents without weapons
- Murphy's Mitigation Master makes your garrison dramatically harder to break
- If you have weapon advantage, be aggressive on Day 6
- If the opponent has weapon advantage, consider strategic shielding on weaker members
When to Shield
Shield weaker members who would lose troops without contributing meaningful damage. In Season 1, troop losses from Day 6 combat are expensive to replace — T10 troops have high training costs. Protect members who cannot compete and concentrate your combat power in your strongest players.
Season 1 Preparation Checklist
Common Season 1 VS Mistakes
- Not adapting Day 6 to the Aircraft meta — blindly sending Tanks against Aircraft loses troops and points
- Wasting speedups before Friday — the habit must continue from pre-season
- Not scouting before Day 6 engagements — type matchup determines the outcome more than raw power
- Ignoring Exclusive Weapon advantage — weapons create large power gaps that change combat calculus
- Over-investing in Day 6 when outmatched — strategic shielding is not weakness, it is efficiency
- Treating Season 1 VS like pre-season — the rewards are better and the competition is stronger
