Sky Battlefront in Season 1

By Season 1, your alliance has Exclusive Weapons, gold gear, and more coordination experience. This means your rallies hit harder, your shield-break timing can be more aggressive, and your overall damage output is significantly higher than pre-season.

For the full event mechanics, see the Sky Predator Guide.

Season 1 Changes Everything

Exclusive Weapons transform your rally damage. A rally led by DVA with Energy Master or Kimberly with Rocket Shadow deals dramatically more damage than the same heroes without their weapons. If your alliance has even 2-3 rally leaders with Exclusive Weapons, you can push for clean shield-breaks consistently.

What Is Different in Season 1

Stronger Rally Compositions

  • Exclusive Weapons provide massive damage spikes for rally leaders
  • Gold gear on rally participants increases overall squad durability and damage
  • T10 troops survive longer in rallies, meaning more sustained damage per rally
  • Heroes at higher star counts with maxed skills amplify rally effectiveness

Better Shield-Break Capability

  • Higher burst damage means shield-break windows are more achievable
  • Well-geared alliances can skip shield phases entirely with coordinated pre-threshold bursts
  • The 5-second rally window becomes easier to execute with stronger squads

Season 1 Rally Compositions

RoleRecommended Heroes
Rally Lead DPSDVA (with Energy Master), Kimberly (with Rocket Shadow), or Tesla
Defence ShredMorrison — armour reduction amplifies all rally damage
Front-Line TanksMurphy (with Mitigation Master), Lucius, or Williams
Support / CCSchuyler for stuns, Carlie for energy damage reduction

Exclusive Weapon Priority for Rallies

  • DVA with Energy Master is the strongest rally DPS in Season 1 — prioritise her for rally lead
  • Kimberly with Rocket Shadow is a strong alternative if DVA is unavailable
  • Morrison does not need his Exclusive Weapon to be effective — his armour shred is innate
  • Murphy with Mitigation Master keeps your front line alive through longer rallies
Rally Leader Selection

Your rally leader should always be your highest-damage player with an Exclusive Weapon. The rally leader's squad contributes the most damage. A DVA with Energy Master leading a rally will out-damage any other configuration in Season 1.

Season 1 Shield-Break Strategy

With stronger squads, your shield-break approach can be more aggressive:

ApproachSeason 1 Application
Pre-Shield BurstWith Exclusive Weapons, coordinated rallies can push past HP thresholds before shields activate. This is now achievable for organised alliances
Shield-Break RushGold gear and T10 troops mean your rallies survive longer during shield phases, giving you more damage output within the break window
Continuous PressureStrong alliances can maintain rolling rallies — as one set returns, the next launches. This keeps constant damage on the airship

Season 1 Defence Improvements

Your alliance is also better at defending against the enemy Sky Predator:

  • Murphy with Mitigation Master in garrison makes bases extremely durable against airship attacks
  • Higher Wall Durability from upgraded HQ levels — walls take longer to break
  • Gold gear means bases survive more hits before needing repairs
  • Weaker members are less vulnerable than in pre-season, reducing the need for mass shielding

Common Season 1 Sky Predator Mistakes

  1. Not using Exclusive Weapon heroes as rally leads — your strongest weapon holders should always lead rallies
  2. Under-estimating your alliance's damage — if you are breaking shields easily, coordinate to skip them entirely for faster clears
  3. Neglecting Morrison in rally composition — his armour shred amplifies everyone's damage, not just his own
  4. Poor rally timing despite stronger squads — the 5-second rule still applies. Stronger squads do not fix bad coordination
  5. Forgetting Rush Phase donations — still the most common mistake across all seasons
