Marshal's Guard (Season 1)
Marshal's Guard in Season 1
Marshal's Guard continues to run every 2-3 days in Season 1. With gold gear, Exclusive Weapons, and T10 troops, your alliance can push significantly higher difficulty levels and earn much better rewards.
For the full event mechanics, see the Marshal's Guard Guide.
If your alliance was clearing Level 5-7 in pre-season, you should be targeting Level 8-10+ in Season 1. Gold gear, Exclusive Weapons, and T10 troops make a dramatic difference. Every difficulty level increase improves rewards.
What Is Different in Season 1
Much Higher Damage Output
- Gold gear on rally heroes — your damage per rally is substantially higher
- Exclusive Weapons — Kimberly's Rocket Shadow and DVA's Energy Master add massive damage
- T10 troops — the power difference from pre-season troops is enormous
- Better skills and stars — heroes are more developed across the alliance
Squad Diversity in Rallies
Season 1 brings meaningful squad diversity to rallies:
- Tank rallies remain strong for sustained damage with Murphy and Kimberly
- Aircraft rallies offer high burst damage with DVA eliminating key targets
- Missile rallies provide excellent energy damage with Tesla's Lightning Chain
- Mixed-type rally compositions can be more effective than mono-type for certain difficulties
Drill Field Upgrades
Your alliance should have a higher Drill Field level:
- The +25% damage bonus from donations is still critical
- Higher Drill Field levels increase the bonus further
- Every member should donate construction parts before the event — this is non-negotiable in Season 1
Season 1 Difficulty Selection
The test: Clear all 5 tanks with more than 5 minutes remaining = safe to increase. Failing to clear = decrease by 1-2.
Season 1 Rally Strategy
Optimised Rally Rotation
With stronger squads, the rally rotation can be tightened:
- R5 and R4 officers start rallies — +5% and +2.5% damage bonuses
- Members with 2+ squads start rallies with their weaker squad
- All others join the shortest available rally
- Stagger starts by ~20 seconds — tighter rotation than pre-season
- Cycle continuously for the full 30 minutes — no downtime
Type-Matched Rallies
In Season 1, consider type-matching your rallies against the armoured tanks:
- Tank rallies for sustained damage and survivability
- Aircraft rallies for high burst damage on individual tanks
- Missile rallies for energy damage that bypasses physical defence
- Mix rally types if your alliance has enough diversity — different types hit different weaknesses
Exclusive Weapon Impact
Heroes with Exclusive Weapons deal dramatically more damage in rallies:
- Kimberly with Rocket Shadow — her AoE energy damage stacking shreds armoured tanks
- DVA with Energy Master — burst damage can chunk significant HP per rally
- Murphy with Mitigation Master — rally leader with this weapon provides unmatched survivability for the entire rally
Murphy with Exclusive Weapon is the ideal rally leader in Season 1. His Mitigation Master provides enhanced damage mitigation for the entire rally force. Combined with his squad-wide HP and attack buffs, Murphy-led rallies are both more durable and more damaging.
Season 1 Hero Formations
Tank Formation (Updated)

- Mason's UR promotion makes him a stronger contributor than Stetmann
Aircraft Formation
- Front: Murphy (Exception) or Carlie, and Lucius
- Back: DVA, Morrison, and Schuyler
Missile Formation
- Front: Adam and McGregor
- Back: Tesla, Fiona, and Swift
Season 1 Must-Do Checklist
Before every Marshal's Guard:
- Donate construction parts to the Drill Field — +25% damage bonus. Non-negotiable
- Recall all deployed troops — everything comes home
- Equip your best gear and Exclusive Weapons — make sure nothing is swapped to another hero
- Position your base near the platform — use a teleport if needed
- Set your rally squads — know which squad starts and which joins
- Heal all wounded troops — enter at full strength
- Coordinate rally rotation before the event starts — not during
Common Season 1 Marshal's Guard Mistakes
- Not pushing difficulty — clearing with 15+ minutes left means your difficulty is too low
- Skipping Drill Field donations — the damage bonus is even more impactful with stronger base damage
- Not leveraging Exclusive Weapons — heroes without their weapons equipped lose significant damage
- Same pre-season rally leader — Murphy with Exclusive Weapon should be leading if available
- No type-matching — running all Tank rallies when you have Aircraft and Missile options
- Inefficient rally rotation — downtime between rallies wastes the 30-minute window
- Not healing between rallies — wounded troops provide zero damage output
