Alliance Train in Season 1

By Season 1, your alliance should have the Alliance Train running as a daily routine. The fundamentals do not change, but your alliance is now stronger — stronger guards, more consistent Gold Express, and better rewards.

For the full mechanics breakdown, see the Alliance Train Guide.

Season 1 Train Rewards

Season 1 train rewards are better than pre-season. Higher Alliance Gift levels, more participants, and Gold Express consistency mean every daily train generates meaningful resources. If you built the habit in pre-season, you are already reaping compounding returns.

What Is Different in Season 1

Stronger Guards

Your alliance members now have gold-geared squads with Exclusive Weapons:

  • Guard teams are significantly harder for attackers to defeat
  • The 3v3 guard battles favour your stronger heroes
  • Murphy with Exclusive Weapon is an excellent guard hero — nearly impossible to beat
  • Fewer successful attacks means fewer reward losses

Higher Alliance Gift Levels

By Season 1, your alliance should have progressed Alliance Gift levels:

Gift LevelTrain Benefit
Level 8+Train speed bonus — faster completion, fewer attack windows
Level 12+Attack reduction — fewer attacks against your train
Level 16+Defeat limit — attackers can only beat your guards a limited number of times
Level 20+VIP passenger seat — double wagon rewards for one player

Consistent Gold Express

With more active members donating trade contracts, Gold Express should be achievable every day:

  • 5 refreshes are easier to hit with 20+ active participants
  • Driver rotation ensures no single player bears the burden
  • The rewards compound daily — consistent Gold Express over a month is a significant resource advantage

Season 1 Train Optimisation

Driver Guard Strategy

With stronger squads, optimise your driver's guard teams:

  • All 3 guard teams should be strong — do not stack one team and leave two weak
  • Use heroes with Exclusive Weapons in guard teams — they provide outsized defensive value
  • Murphy is ideal for guard duty — his Mitigation Master weapon makes him nearly unbeatable in the 3v3 format
  • Diversify troop types across guard teams — prevents attackers from type-matching all three

Wagon Selection in Season 1

Season 1 resource priorities differ from pre-season:

  • Oil wagons — if available, oil is the new bottleneck resource in Season 1
  • Speedup wagons — always valuable for VS preparation and building/research
  • Gear material wagons — ceramic and blueprint components support star promotion
  • Hero material wagons — Exclusive Weapon materials and hero shards

VIP Passenger Seat

If your Alliance Gift Level has reached 20, one player gets the VIP seat with double wagon rewards:

  • Rotate VIP access fairly among active members
  • Priority should go to members who contribute most (consistent participation, contract donations)
  • The VIP seat is a significant reward boost — do not let it go to inactive members

Season 1 Train Schedule

By Season 1, your alliance should have a locked-in daily schedule:

  1. Fixed time every day — no exceptions, no "whenever someone remembers"
  2. Driver rotates among your 3-5 strongest players weekly
  3. Reminder posted 30 minutes before preparation phase
  4. All passengers board within 5 minutes of departure
  5. Contract donations happen immediately — do not wait until the train is moving

Common Season 1 Train Mistakes

  1. Complacency — "the train is easy now" leads to skipped days and inconsistent participation
  2. Not rotating driver — driver burnout is real. Rotate weekly among strong players
  3. Ignoring the VIP seat — letting it go unused or giving it to inactive members wastes rewards
  4. Weak guard teams despite strong squads — reassign your best heroes to guard duty for the train
  5. Not pursuing Gold Express daily — the rewards compound. Consistency matters
  6. Skipping contract donations — even in a mature alliance, donations are needed for Gold Express
