Why a Routine Matters

Players who log in daily and complete key tasks will always outpace those who play in bursts. Last War rewards consistency — most timers, events, and resets are designed around daily play.

Morning Check-In (5 Minutes)

  1. Collect idle rewards — hero EXP and other passive rewards cap out. Collect regularly
  2. Start a build or upgrade — never let your builder sit idle
  3. Queue research — same principle, always have something researching
  4. Queue troop training — keep training running
  5. Claim daily login rewards
  6. Tap alliance help — help every alliance member who has a pending request

Midday Session (10 Minutes)

  1. Check for active events — participate in anything running (Arms Race, alliance events)
  2. Complete daily missions — most are simple tasks you are doing anyway
  3. Upgrade your drone — if you have parts and resources available
  4. Check the Honor Shop — buy Legendary Gear Blueprints if available
  5. Send gathering marches — if resource tiles are available near your alliance hive

Evening Session (15-20 Minutes)

This is typically when alliance events run and when you have more time.

  1. Participate in alliance events — boss fights, Arms Race activities, etc.
  2. Progress campaign stages — push for hero EXP and materials
  3. Hunt zombies — resources and drone parts
  4. Coordinate with alliance — rallies, defence, or planned attacks
  5. Spend excess resources — queue upgrades, training, or research before logging off
  6. Shield up — if you have resources and will be offline overnight

Weekly Planning

Arms Race Days

Plan around the Arms Race schedule:

  • Building Day — save your biggest building upgrades for this day
  • Training Day — stockpile training speedups and queue everything on this day
  • Research Day — start your most expensive research projects
  • Power Day — use everything you have been saving

Weekly Tasks

  • Alliance research donations — contribute daily
  • Review your squad — are you investing in the right heroes? Is your gear on the right people?
  • Check hero shards — can you star up any heroes?
  • Review alliance mail — stay informed on alliance plans and strategy

What NOT to Do

  • Do not spend gems on short speedups — a 5-minute speedup is not worth gems. Save for VIP
  • Do not leave resources unprotected overnight — spend them or shield
  • Do not skip alliance help — it is free and costs nothing
  • Do not ignore events — even partial participation gives rewards that add up
  • Do not forget to collect idle rewards — capped rewards are wasted progress
  • Do not open resource chests unless you are about to spend — keep them safe in your inventory
